The Polo Lounge Bar is Scotland's largest gay venue.
Plush and stylish in a shabby chic way, it offers three areas - the upstairs bar area which looks like a gentleman's club and a basement that houses a good size club (warning - it gets hot down there!) and the smaller Trophy Room with its leather settees and smaller dancefloor.
Very busy at the weekends - hence the door stewards' "regulars only" retort if you're not getting in :-(
